Will be on a daily driver with the occasional drag race on the street. Was also curious if a trans tune is worth it

I love mine when I hit it at the right time. But I'm super inconsistent with it. Sucks.

I run Ben's (bt diesel works) box on mine and have a good results. Street or strip it's great. I just leave it in auto for the most part.

I also run Ben's in auto all the time DD. Without it I just blow right through the converter all the time.

I've had Ben's box on my truck for roughly 5 years, it can't be beat. The auto function is a lifesaver. The DHD one works as designed but heaven forbid you forget to flip it back off, that's a hassle I didn't want so Ben's box was perfect for me.

I bought it used and had him update it, turn around time was 2 weeks between me sending mine in and him sending it back. Talked to him on the phone, he is a really busy guy so patients is key.

There are 2 codes that come up after installed but it's because of how you wire the box in, they are ghost codes basically they do not affect anything whatsoever.

What I run also, works great! You know the converter is locking up as supposed to unlike the BT that has some safe modes in it that may prevent you doing exactly what you command it to. But I sled pull so a little different application.

Sounds like the bt one is better for a dd cause it has the safety features where the dhd one is more for just racing
