So you are saying they won't do anything unless you send the pistons back to them?

If that is the case send the pistons back and then re balance the rotating assy. It isn't horrible to do.

He is offering me back $1000 if I give him these pistons back, would have to buy at least 3 new Fingers, and have him weight them all properly, so realistically I will not be any further ahead money wise.

Personally, at that point, I would be sending the guy the complete short block back.

You bought it at his word that it was "good" and it is far from in terms of the damage to the pistons. For $10k you can build a complete short block to mirror it, all you did was save time by purchasing it completed.

Both sellers need to be hung from their scrotums until they take the short block and heads back and give you all your money back, including any shipping costs/additional costs you incurred. I hate f-ing thieves.

Then you can start over.

I would tear deeper into it like looking at rings and bearings. who knows how hurt those are. looks like the engine had it rough.

was this dealing done through here or by a fellow member here?

I would give that crap back... If they won’t take the junk back then we need to know who they are so others don’t get cheated.

We need to know so we can remove their garage sale privileges permanently. Enough is enough with this members-ripping-members-off garbage.

Heads can be confirmed by numbers Guy puts on them. He will tell you everything he did to them by the number he puts on the front head casting. I would not use this block period. You spent too much for a piece of crap for a engine.

I agree get your money back. You are taking a big risk keeping these parts.
