Default LML front drive shaft

Is there anything special to removing the front drive shaft? I thought it was just a slip yoke but it does not seem to want to slide out.

Should have a crimp band clamp on the boot on t-case side will need to be removed. I have seen where people did not replace that clamp and water gets into the splines and rust up solid. If this is the case slide boot back and spray with your favorite penetrating oil and tap in till front drive u-joint can be removed and carefully hammer out. Clean splines inside and out with a wire bush and lube splines. Besure to make sure boot is in good shape and re crimp clamps. Fred

Spicer 5-795X is what I used. There's another thread around here about front u-joints on the LML letting go in 4wd.
