Just looked on my truck. It has a single brown wire coming out in the same location you describe that goes to my oil pressure sender.

Does you'rs have a plug in on it or just wire with no end?

Just a wire with no end. This wire originates from the the large ecm connector. Pin hole 77. When I look this up on all data it indicates that this wire is a power wire.

I guess try hooking it up to power then and see if your alternator charges? Mine does not have a single blue and white wire at that location.

I just received a reply from from Ben. The blue wire with white stripe is supposed to hook up to the lb7 oil pressure sensor. But there is no connector in the end of the wire. I am going to see if I can solder the connector from the lb7 harness onto the blue wire with the white stripe tomorrow morning. We shall see.

Thanks again for all your help

Good deal. I was thinking that's where it went since mine has a wire in the same spot that goes to my oil pressure sender.

Ok. I have purchased an autocal from duramaxtuner.com with five trans safe tunes. I had some concerns about loading these tunes on top of the already modified ecm from btdieselworks. Did you have any issues?

And thanks again again for all your help

If they do not have the original file from your ecm or one from ben for your application then the tunes dmax tuner sent will not work right. You have to use the file ben has or pretty much nothing will work right.

I had the original file from ben and modified it to my liking, then added the dsp5 tuning.

I got the oil pressure sensor and petastool swapped over to the lbz motor. I cut and soldered the connector from the from the lb7 motor onto the new harness. Oil pressure gauge is now working properly.

Here are the remaining issues. If anyone has any thoughts chime in

Alt is not charging

Fuel gauge is backwards. I think this can be fixed with efilive

Check engine lights. About twelve. I am working on getting them together.

Scanner cannot clear the codes. I am using a snap on solus ultra. But I have a tech 2 as well

Trans will not go into reverse. It does go into drive but very hard

Update trans issue. The hard shift was caused by low voltage. Due to the alt not charging. With a battery charger hooked up the shift issues cleared up.

Alternator charging is operating system issue in the ecm. No real fix for that other than jump a key hot wire to the brown wire on the alternator. This will also eliminate 2 of your codes I'm pretty sure. (Both alternator codes)

Fuel gauge will have to be rescaled using efi live.

Post the rest of your codes and we can see if they are related. I would bet your trans is in limp mode because of a wiring issue.

Are you using lbz/ allison trans?

Where you located?

The lbz accelerator petal makes the reduced engine power light go out. But it will not bolt up properly to the firewall. Back to square one on that issue.
