Yeah hopefully he dont end up with plumbers crack as bad as dad lol. Was a bitter sweet day yesterday. Not much of a load. Bringing up to a buddy should have an interesting load coming home. Hard to see it go but its one man sport and boys and i do everything together. This is my other boy. He likes the truck as much as I do.

Not my truck but was a friends farm, the heaviest load of the day scaled 51k including the truck. Its had a hard life to say the least. The trailer now has a third axle.

My god...Did you permanently bend the trailer? I would think shifting a couple bales toward the rear while loading would've been a good idea.

I was out delivering (when am I not?) and had two newer Dmaxes go by me pulling large trailers loaded with round bales. I could've sworn I counted 18 bales on the one trailer, double row, 5 on bottom, 4 on top. The other was almost as many.

Default Long heavy haul

I towed this using my 06 LBZ, from Las Vegas Nevada via I-40 to 8830 feet elevation in Northern New Mexico. over many steep grades, 32ft gooseneck with a 1990 5 ton 6x6. Total weight from certified scale: 37,120. No issues, except lots of attention!

There's a combined 608,000 miles between these two heaps. Red lb7 got run hot and low on oil till it shut off. Barely turns over and the oil smells like a bonfire. My old green truck is like a red headed step child. 299,500 miles and still taking beatings. I DD, tow, and play on a 2600us tune. Far as I know she's all stock.

My buddy gave me a call last night, said his 2013 Cummins just had the trans s**t the bed. He was hauling it back up from phx to his place in flagstaff. The 68rfe gave him the middle finger it seems lol. So hopped in the Limo and met him about 40 min from where i live to where he broke. just made it up one of the steep hills/passes. I hitched up and we decided to see if he could limp the truck back up north unloaded. hit the highway and off we went. He left it in 4th as anything higher it would shut down on him. even in 4th it was making some nasty noises he said. Still, hour and 15 min later, we made it up north and i parked the trailer for him. His rig is another 3-4k heavier than mine unloaded and he had full fresh water/food/clothes for camping lol. pulled the hills at 70 without issue but it was also 45-50* outside. makes a world of difference in coolant, trans and oil temp thats for sure. never saw over 220 oil temp or 200 coolant. trans stayed at 175*. wish it stayed like that for summer!

This was partially unloaded, it was sitting alot better when fully loaded. Trailer was not permanetly bent, its a little happier now with the 3rd axle

Picked up a doodge today for a little side work. Egr issues, plugged dpf, possible stuck vgt, blown exhaust manifold gaskets.
Old green machine hauled it like a champ with the 2500us tune

Saw this pipe being hauled last week while going to beach. I don't think it's supposed to be squished like that!
