May have, I swapped stock turbos, put new injectors in and replaced every part on the motor including sensors. Only thing original was the alternator.

I bet the injectors made the difference especially if you ran the same tune. Can't see how you would gain hp by dropping compression in that set up

It gained a lot of bottom end. Didn't gain any top end.

Doing a lml right now with 14mm studs and o ringing the block.

Alive 11/15/13: lowered, Built motor, s475, plenty of fuel, plenty of spray. Tune 3 fuel only 11.84 @114, Tune 5 little bit of spray 11.45 @ 121. Both times with melted turbine wheel, loose turbo from pedestal with blown out flange gasket. .

The 14mm studs require removal of a LOT of material from the block and heads..... To each there own

14mm. Guy at socal recommends them over the 625's.

True. I personally will run 625's and o ring block next time I pull motor out of my truck.

Seem like alot more things involved to run 14mm heads studs. You have to get your block machines to accept 14mm head studs and special head gaskets and get your heads machined out. Do it all over again if you have to replace one of them things.
