I watch both shows, and I enjoy both shows. I am interested to see what happens with Fast N Loud without Aaron, but I think they will be just fine. There are a lot of talented guys there, and I'm sure if they want to find another "Master Mechanic" to replace Aaron, I'm sure there will be plenty of guys chomping at the bit for a chance to get on TV. I'm really interested to see if Aaron gets his own show. I hope so because it sounds like he is interested, and the show he has in mind sounds like something that will be fun to watch and more in depth than FNL.

I also really like the Street Outlaws guys. I know it isn't realistic street racing, but they really can't show legitimate illegal street racing on TV. Do you guys really thing the law enforcement or the film production insurance companies would allow that? Lets be reasonable here. There is no doubt those guys are 100% street racers, and they never claimed their cars to be street cars. They claim them to be the fastest street RACED cars, and like Ken said, I think it is cool what they are doing for drag racing. I am looking forward to seeing what happens with the new season of the show. It sounds like they're going back to what the list was like at the beginning of the show where the cars at least looked like cars.

If Richard had any interest in following the rules, he had plenty of time to get an NHRA license, not that he needed it for this race anyway. He just wanted to do whatever he could to win, and in the end it didn't work out for him. If I had an agreement with a shop that they would build a car that they raced against my shop building a car that we raced, and I find out that they brought in a professional NHRA race team and driver to build and drive the car, I would be a little upset about it too. Makes the whole thing seem a little pointless to me. This wasn't a "licsensed NHRA driver" against another. This was a professional NHRA race car driver against a guy who races regularly.

If you guys are really interested in the show and what really happened, you should really listen to Chief and Shawn's podcast. It is on iTunes and on their website. They literally had 8 days to build their car vs the Gas Monkey guys who had months. I mean, the Gas Monkey guys had time to build the car, test the car, wreck the car, fix the car, and wrap the car before the race. That should tell you who had more time in the whole deal.

Are you going to be in Tulsa this weekend?

I used to like Ass Monkey, but I've slowly learned that RR is the type of guy that only bumps his gums because he has money now. The show made him and Aaron was the talent behind it all.

I like 405 because it's real. Yes, it's scrptied, but the racing is real. The show has done a great deal for racing.

It's always the little guy (less money than those in corporate sponsors) that keeps things real.

Going to be heading to Tulsa this weekend for Radial v. World. Should be fun.

No, we just had an event this last weekend with the Sonoma as an attraction. He will be in Redding this weekend and Kentucky the following. We won't be back east with the cars until around Aug that I know of. I'm signed up for Armageddon big tire open class. Boddie is in big tire, and Boddie Jr will be in small tire.

The show street outlaws has turned people around here into dumb asses. Im considered the black sheep cause I only race at the track. The whole no prep events have helped track attendence but yet many guys who race them refuse to follow safety rules. Track dont enforce them cause it dont show the times. They wont let us run the street tire class even though we drove to the track. Seems like drag racings going down hill like many things.

Jeff lutz in madman is about as street car as it can get and stay as fast as it is. It's registered and inspection in PA. For drag week he street drove it 1100 miles and hit 5 tracks in 5 days driving through Ohio, Michigan and Indiana. With a small trailer in tow... that's street car enough for me.
