I don't care, but I'd be curious to see if fuel is indeed the reason, or if it's a flub design. Application wise, it's mute, as you say.

I donít think fuel being the issue is practical. What kind of tolerance would they build the pump at that it would see so many failures over any other diesel out there. I mean if I build a fuel pump but require absolutely zero water contamination, strict lubricity requirements, and an 0.5 particulate filters it would be a POS to most of us.
