Are the Dorman mounts an updated version that help with the beaming? I don't have much issues with that since I moved out of socal other then on one long overpass in town.

These have been the longest lasting end links I've had. They are napas and lifetime warranty. My lift destroys these too. With torsion bars I could run without them and still have decent cornering. Not with coilovers now lol. Took a drive up to napa to get new ones with no links and you would have thought it was a trophy truck with all the body roll.

I have no idea on the dormans helping with beaming. I'll find out when I take it out for a longer drive.

I have been meaning to talk to mike about removing the trans cooling from the radiator and just running a larger trans cooler with fan. Trans temps never seem to be a problem... They only seem to suffer because they have to follow the coolant temps when they rise because its absorbing heat from the radiator instead of the radiator helping it cool. lol

But we plan on trying out a few ideas.

Well with mikes cooler, even with coolant temps at 240*, trans temp never went over 205-210. I wouldn't bypass the rad.

James what did that radiator cost? I looked around on there site and could find anything for diesels. Does it look like it's going to make a big difference?

I bought it through coolertowing.com. Joe is a local and goes by engineer(and some numbers) on diesel place. He makes quite a few options for cooling these trucks down while towing heavy in AZ heat. Ron Davis builds them for him. Is cheaper to go through Joe as well as I found out lol.

He makes an aux radiator that goes below the cooling stack that I would have used but my bumper and oil cooler won't give me the room for one. I was afraid of just throwing a Ron Davis replacement in and not getting any results so after talking with Ron, he suggested a dual pass to try. He says it generally adds about 20% more cooling that way. Add in the fact the fun design and cores add 20% over the stock rad, I think I'm doing well. Emailed Joe and he agreed it would be a good idea to try. Took about 6 weeks from start to finish.

It was 1500 for this radiator but I'll be 1800-1900 in it total after the van bridge and re-orienting it to point to the pass side, upper rad hose, and extended trans lines. Not cheap but it's high quality, Ron stands behind his stuff and it's USA made. I'll get some pics of the rad when I pull it out. Don't want to do that till I mm ready for install

Thanks for the info I need to do something with my stuff way to many Mtn passes/big rolling hills here and tired of the 230+240 temps pulling traiers.

The auxiliary is almost not much less than the radiator I wonder witch way is the better route with a stock bumper front end?
