So far im loving it! It runs much harder than my old setup even with stock sticks.

Question for you guys. Found this block local, do you guys think that cylinder could be cleaned up? If so I think I’m gonna pick this thing up.

The webbing is a little weaker in block is all. If that block is close enough just go and feel any grooves. Doesn't look like it cracked out so unless it melted through to the outside it should be fine I would think.

It hard to tell how bad it is in the picture. But looks a lot similar to what mine did. Had to bore mine 40 over to clean it up 20 over might've been okay but needed to order pistons before it was bored so I just went 40 over.

Is a 40 over bad? Any negative effects going to a 40? The guy said theres no scuffs on the cylinder wall. That little area that looks bad he said is from rubbing his finger there.

Could be from his finger. It's just so hard to tell in a picture. Talking out of my ass here but my only experience with a bored out cylinder is MX bikes. They generally rev slower and sign off early but have gobs or torque. Also seemed to break cranks more once bored. Again I know it's a completely different application and power dilivery that's just the only experience I have to go off of.

I've never got my 69sxe to bark, yet I never chop the throttle after a WOT pull. Doesn't bark on lock up either.
