Fired up #2 today. For quick test, bumped FP to 60mpa at idle to see if these sticks clean up. Think they need a little advance now. But man are these puppies smooth, even in hit miss mode..

Man, those things are beautiful.

Wish I could afford a pair, but can't imagine the price tag associated with all that custom bling.

Thanks Cap. I know I've put a ton of hours in them..

Yesterday I had to hoist, haul 10 miles, hoists again, haul home, and hoist a third time to unload.. Times Two, for total of 6 hoists, and 40 miles dragging engines on a single axle trailer. Seeing all that bling hanging on a $20 strap can sure makes ones butt pucker...

Got one set of mounting plates whipped out over the weekend.

Now waiting on paint to dry, then it's bolt everything together again.. Lots to do if gonna make it to Indy by Thursday afternoon.

Day 2 at UCC, and my engine is still together.. Which makes me feel like a big winner...

Most respect for all these competitors. And special shout out to the FirePunk crew who's been graciously loaning me their forklift to unload and reload this engine every day. I've Been trying hard to convert them from the dark side. But after laying down a 7.88, I can see it's gonna require a lot more rum than I brought with me...

Nice to meet all the members who've stopped by to say hello. Tomorrow I'm packing up and heading home about 900lbs lighter. Next time you see this engine, it will be spinning and grinning.

Nice chatting with you also Joe.

Hope Mark finds a good spot to stick it until I return. Saw a few empty chassis setting around there.. Couple guys were asking at show if turbos would clear firewall...

No doubt.. I'm pulling for a keg...

I planned to stick a scope camera into the med-duty oil pan inspection port just to monitor how the new pan baffle flows returning oil. If all good, I'll flip it over so we can watch internals spinning in action when things get real.
