You'd be surprised, Josh. Lots of non-performance people here now. Leave the guy alone, ok?

Thanks Tom. Don't worry, the previous post are reasons you don't have more people on the site. I'll keep my non-performance friends off the site for your convenience. Shawn

Oh no. Another snowflake got offended because this site wasn't created and dedicated to helping you sell your junk.

Tom tried to stick up for you and yet you still chose to criticize the site your simply trying to use for your own personal gain.

If the purpose of this site was to make money for the owners, then the more users the better. But that was not, is not, and (according to the owners) never will be the point of this site. This site was created to discuss performance mods, racing, and all things Duramax. There is a reason it is the tech knowledge legend that it has become.

So while you make snide remarks about keeping non-performance friends off the site, the high percentage of performance enthusiasts, mechanics, builders, engineers, etc., on here is why there is so much knowledge. So that might not be a bad thing...

I have seen what happens to a site that focuses on making everyone feel welcome to maximize profits, and that site is DieselPlace (there are others too). So while I have no problem with you trying to sell a Hypertech here, I also would rather this not become DieselPlace 2.0. If that means a couple feelings get hurt, IMO, so be it.

Good luck with the sale.

Nicely put, Dave. Gracias. There really needs to be something like that for newbies to read as a warning before they sign up here. Too many join here simply to get their "problem" solved, and never contribute anything of value as repayment for the help. Guess thats just the way things are now.

Anyway, GLWS, Shawn.

I think there should be a certain number of post before people are allowed to sell anything. That way you don't get this kinda BS to take place.

I agree. I and a few other members lately have been burned on some larger purchases. When people have 1 post and are trying to sell stuff here just makes me laugh. Obviously they just joined to sell there junk, hence why I suggested Facebook or Craigslist. Even if somebody is not wanting all out performance efi live would still be better tuning for towing etc.

Yo Tom can we get atleast a minimum 100 posts to be able to even post in the for sale threads

The garage sale area was not intended for profit or personal gain it's meant for long standing members to get deals on parts from other long standing members in a no hassle exchange.

More than half of the threads up I wouldn't even consider buying from because I don't trust the low post count people I've never seen post anywhere else before.
