    ML Prescision converter !

    ML Precision converter will tow heavy loads extremely well. Mike definitely pointed me in the right direction for my truck. Tow tunes to over 500HP tunes are handled with no problems. No issues with almost 100,000 miles on mine.

    Best Diesel Oil???

    Yep...I do the 25,000 or once a year oil change too. With my bypass, I just do a filter change around 10,000 and keep on trucking. It uses no oil other than what little is lost with the discarded filter. Figures out to be just a tad over $100 a year for me as well.

    I'll see if I can find one with the LB7 idle...it sounds pretty nice when you run around town. Its just the vanes wide open, so its pretty good for mileage too. Besides, you really don't need all that boost when you are just goofing around.

    Good to see you got the Efilive Johnny. My offer of a few Kodiak tunes still stands if you need some. I have some for mileage, towing, and a few for play. Not sure what turbo you are running now...so they might not do anything you need.

    If you are getting high EGT's with a 80 HP tune, I would suggest adding more boost. I run some "healthy" tunes and have towed with some tunes that are 400+HP without the EGT's getting out of control. PPE boost controller also helps me fudge the boost a bit too. If the temps start to get too...

    I guess it depends on if you drive like a Grandma....you can run a 500HP tune all day long on a stock transmission, until your right foot gets heavy. 70-75HP is what I believe to be the highest you can run and still have fun with the truck.
