    When I try to make it inhibit reverse it always seems to do it after a shutdown whenever I have forgot about it then I go to put it in reverse it gives me range shift inhibited. It will immediately inhibit reverse if I just unplug the harness on the lockup box, which I guess makes sense...

    LLYs ignore the idle timing, I disabled the idle tables and run mine with the main timing table at idle. I can't say how much it did for the smell because it still smells like a diesel but it does get rid of the annoying jump in idle speed you can feel when it transitions from idle to rolling...

    Ok I cleared codes this morning then drove then parked and put it into reverse to park worked fine. Couple hours later got back in checked reverse worked fine drove then got back and had to use reverse to get into a parking space and wouldn't work so I kept cutting it off and on and didn't work...

    Without hitting anything except the blue button to make sure it's in auto mode, it will inhibit reverse. I cleared it again and I'm not going to touch anything today and see what happens.

    I know the Allison has to shift sequentially so it can't go from say 5th to 3rd, but I don't get why it takes so long for it to downshift say when your coasting in 5th and go WOT. I feel like there would be virtually no turbo lag if the trans could downshift faster and help build boost faster...
