That works I guess, seems like more work that it's worth. Hydraulic hose is just so damn easy and problem free and pretty much serviceable anywhere that sells hydraulic lines, plus they are cheap....

Go with drp next time or have a hydraulic ship make you lines. They just use parker hose and fittings. Much more reliable than what fleece sells. I with with hydraulics for a living the parker hoses...

I don't look at the oil it's not going to tell you what you need to know just by color. My lb7 would always stay pretty clean...

It's highly likely the edge is accurate, the dash uses stepper motors so some of the accuracy is lost trying to convey the information, electrical doesn't lose it's info easily.
