    P1093 code keeps coming up

I’m curious what you did to resolve. I am getting P1093 when accelerating or hill climbing. I changed out my stock FPRV with one from Motor Sport Diesel. No change. I also put in a new Wix fuel filter. No change. I need advice on what to do next to diagnose. Thanks in advance. Craig

Thanks Iowa lly. Yes, I meant to type 34.5. I'll reprogram and let you know how it goes.

ABS/Brake DTC after head gasket job

Okay, now I'm really confused. I went for a drive and now my speedometer is within 4%! Very odd result. What's your wise counsel Iowa lly?

ABS/Brake DTC after head gasket job

Well returning the tire size back to factory (31) eliminated the ABS/Brake alarm. Now what?

ABS/Brake DTC after head gasket job

I replaced the rear WSS. No change. The speedometer is 13% off which happens to be the ratio of diameter change from stock to my tires. It seems like the ECU is accepting the tire change but the EBCM is not. Does that make any sense?

Does the speedometer get its input from the wheel speed sensors or another source?

ABS/Brake DTC after head gasket job

I started throwing an ABS/Brake Service Brake System Code after finishing a Head gasket replacement. I don't think anything is related but it is odd that it happened immediately after. Symptoms: 1. When starting/idling, not driving, no code/alert. 2. After driving between 1 and 5 miles, the...

    Help identifying electrical connection

After a teardown and rebuild for blown head gaskets, I'm left with a connection I have no mate for. Can someone help me identify what connects to this? It is underneath the layered wiring block on the left (drivers) side of the engine. It is a round red connection (in the picture). Thanks, Craig

    Info: Duramax Valve Lash Tutorial.

Is there another way to know whether 1 is at TDC or 4 is at TDC other than valve rocker play? The reason I ask is I did the HG and had loosened the valve lash to get the rockers off. Thanks, Craig
