Help: LB7 Mysterious Coolant Leak
did you check the weep holes at the water pump. My friend had his water pump go out and it would only leak on our lift. the pan under the engine would hold the coolant so it never dripped on the ground.- 289stang

LB7: No coolant temp gauge and no ecm temp signal.
I posted a tread for an overheating issue earlier. Now I'm posting for another friend. We just got done putting a new motor in and now the coolant temp gauge is dead and so is the ecm coolant temp. We checked it on a scanner with the truck running and warm and it read -40* on the scanner. We... -

LB7: Overheating issue and no heater. Headgaskets?
I have a friend with an 02 duramax. A couple days ago it began overheating and the heater starts to blow cold. If you romp on it pretty hard the heater starts blowing warm and the truck will cool down some. Now is it headgaskets? I am just going by what he is telling me. We replaced both t-stats...
