I've never joined a forum like this so it is a bit intimidating. I jumped on because I am having a a foul chemical smell coming from my exhaust and more smoke than I should have. Also my engine light comes on intermittently. I suspect my emissions sensors or something like that is the problem. I will fill out my profile but how would I approach this issue to learn what the problem may be? VS

Probably a bad tank of fuel?

You need to read the codes to find out what the CEL (check engine light) is.

I'd take off the fuel filter, and cut it open and take a look.

This is mostly a performance Duramax site, but we can often help anyhow.

Your not kidding with the price of stamps alone I do my banking on-line and even here at my company we e-mail invoices and anything else possible.

The postal service cost are ridiculous!
