That's a nice way to tell someone the rough measurement of your trans (Oh it's 4 beers tall by 6 beers long) . . .

What did you bust? I am guessing the output snapped off and was in thw the T-case slip yoke. Kind like this.

What where you doing when you broke it? Pulling in high range? I just rebuilt mine with a stock shaft. No need to cryo. It will not help. Held up great to lower range pulling with just over 800rwhp.

it broke exactly like that^^^^^ and yes there were a few beers involved and its a easy way to measure. I was doing a boosted launch when i broke it. 4x4 in 3rd gear with about 20 psi boost it was gonna be a good show but things didnt go well :(

How hard were you pushing it when it broke? I'm suprized 600hp broke it. I'm at 590hp and didn't figure I'd have an issue till closer to 800hp. How do you like your triple disc? Mine is sure is sweet :D

You don't want one. The output is the designed weak spot. Beef it up and you will break the input instead which will most like trash the clutch.

The stock is plenty strong.

The grabby/jumpy clutch is what killed it.

On my new output shaft I welded a small bead around the neck where they normally break. I don't know if that was a good idea or bad. I welded it a year ago and have had no problems.

what would cause the clutch to be so jumpy like that, it wasnt like that before that i noticed is there somthing wrong with it or is that just the nature of the beast

What clutch material do you have?
It most likely got to hot and that is why it got grabby.

Sintered Iron disk usually take that well.
