Ok a buddy of mine has a 2002 VW Golf GTI, Its the 20th edition or something.
Has a diverter valve and a dealer tune or something  He says.
Other then that its bone stock.
My truck is a big piece of shiot. :rofl:lowered bone stock except for exhaust.
Anyways he's always running his mouth my car this my car that so we go to a little spot ive found to race, and we GRD.....
We raced 4 times i won 3 out of 4 ???? Wtf is wrong with his car.
When u ride in it it feels fast and nimble.
I wasnt spooling nore launching in 4hi ?? Im very proud of my truck for being the big slow pig it is. i thought i did very well against the little german sports car. He's never had it at the track but claims there supposed to run low 14's.
Is this right? does anyone know anything about these car's my only thought is its got some serious issues under the hood ??

Low 14's isnt very fast.
Your truck might do high 14's

Maybe your buddy just can't drive?? I didn't think those did better than 15's too.
And a stock LLY w/exhaust 14's? I've never seen that. I could believe a LBZ. Then again what do I know...

At our local track there is a group of VW guys - they all run 15s and when one of them breaks 14s the others are all cheering:rofl: Those GTIs are a joke of a tuner car until they have alot of work done.

And theres a huge difference in the lbz and lly.. tuning wise..
Im sorry but the 06 lly is a big slow rag. A stock lb7 would out run me im sure of it.
or a 05 lly.. Idk what it is but the stock tuning in this truck is horrible.
Its alright till about 50-60 NO BALLS.. But im sure ill get it worked out here shortly with efi.
And thanks i didnt know wether to be happy or down on myself.. Ill settle for a happy middle.

It isn't quite as fast as a stock LBZ (there are a few minor differences in tuning), but I don't think Pat broke into the 15s in Casper when he was stock.

The 06 LLY is a totally different animal.
