Error Message

I've searched & read about vista but I can't see where it would pertain to me.

I have installed EFI on a new laptop and this is the error message I received.

Error code: ERR_FILE/90

File: C:\Users\TNRGreene\Documents\EFILiveV742_524_657_6 45_57[1]\Configuration\vin.ini The system cannot find the file specified. Win32 error: 2.

It comes up on both the scan tool and tune tool when I try to open either. The new laptop has Windows Vista. I have not even tried to hook it up to the truck yet.

read somewhere that logging in as administrator might cure the problem?????

Thanks but When I click either icon that error comes up & then when I click OK the program closes. In other words I tried the admin thing also :D

I have not ever had problems with windows vista like others have have u tryed going to all programs efi v7 click on that and go to update firmware and click on the stautes button to see if its even decteding that it has the v2 plug in. If all hells fells call guy trippen and socal he is pretty good and all this stuff

Thanks I talked to Guy, He had time to fix it but I did not. We will have it fixed before Spring Fling :D No worries on my part
